- Here's an option:

- 1. Keep mouse on com1.
- 2. Change internal modem to a different com port, for example, com3 IRQ5
- or IRQ7 (if your modem allows it). Make sure your sound card is not
- using IRQ5. If it is, change it to IRQ 7.
- 3. Put the Birsurfer Pro on com2. You may need to reenable com2 through
- the cmos setup or jumpers if com2 was disabled for your internal
- modem.
